We all work hard. So why the heck not treat yourself once in a while to a cool experience. Whether its a great trip to an exotic locale, a weekend at a spa, or just a day away from the constant beating that New York City lays on us day after day.
Anyway, that's what Alex and I thought. Like many of you, we're pretty busy and extended trips away, even weekend trips, require planning and time. However, a day here and there is something most of us can allow ourselves with relative ease.
So we figured a boat was a good way to get away from the city. Out on the water...away from the noise...not able to rush back to the office...it's mighty fine. Forced relaxation.
We've done it. We love it. We thought you might also. So we figured why not invite you all to join us....not at the same time though.
We have use of a Crownline 270 CR, 28 foot Cabin Cruiser. It's a fun little boat. you can see pics below. We go fishing. We go out and drive it around the city. Truly wonderful perspectives of a place we all call home. We just go and get away from the daily grind.
We invite you to join us. Here are the rules:
1. The trips require a bit of advance planning. So if you want to come let us know the dates (several options would be great), and have them be at least 2 weeks out.
2. Three people maximum. While the boat can accomodate up to 8, we like to keep it to about 5. 6 maximum.
3. There is a cost. $125 per person for the day. It covers 6 hours of boating. Lunch. Beverages. Fishing equipment.
4. Whatever you catch, if you like, we can take back to Paradou and cook it up for you that night for dinner.
